Lebanon homeowners

What Lebanon OH homeowners ask us about lvp.

Lebanon is our home base — our showroom serves homeowners across the historic downtown, the new builds along SR-48, and the established neighborhoods near Berry Intermediate and Lebanon City Schools.

Lebanon's housing stock is unusually mixed — 1880s downtown brick rowhouses, mid-century ranches in Heritage Hill, and 2010s+ new builds out toward Carter Farms and along SR-48. That means we see everything: 80-year-old plaster walls and original oak floors that need careful refinishing in the historic district, basement waterproofing concerns in the lower-lying neighborhoods, and full-build kitchen specs in the newer developments. Our crews live here too — most are within a 15-minute response radius of any project in the 45036.

Luxury vinyl plank gives you the warm look of hardwood with the practicality of vinyl — 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, kid- and pet-proof, and dramatically warmer underfoot than tile. We carry rigid-core LVP from EverLife, Trecento, and other premium lines, and our installers handle full subfloor prep and trim work.

We work across the 45036 ZIP and the surrounding Warren County area. Neighborhoods we've served include Downtown Lebanon, Countryside, Heritage Hill, Shadow Hills, Carter Farms.

FAQ

LVP questions Lebanon homeowners ask.

How long does LVP installation take?
Most LVP installs take 1–3 days for a typical home. Empty rooms install fastest; furnished spaces add half a day for furniture moves. Whole-house projects (1,500+ sq ft) typically run 2–4 days. We schedule day-by-day so you know exactly when crews are on site.
Is LVP really 100% waterproof?
Premium rigid-core LVP — the kind we install — is 100% waterproof on its surface, which is why it works in basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. Standing water for days can still seep through the seams to the subfloor, so it's not a substitute for fixing actual leaks. But spilled drinks, pet accidents, mopping, and dishwasher overflow? No problem.
Can LVP be installed over my existing floor?
Often yes — LVP can be installed over most existing hard surfaces (tile, sheet vinyl, sealed hardwood) if the surface is flat and stable. We'd rip up old carpet first. Subfloor flatness matters more than the existing floor type — if your subfloor has high spots or dips beyond 3/16″ across 10 feet, we level it before install.
Do Lebanon historic district homes need special permits for renovations?
Exterior changes in the Lebanon Historic District (roughly downtown around Broadway and Main) typically require a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Historic Preservation Commission. Interior surfaces — flooring, countertops, cabinets — are unrestricted. We'll handle the paperwork if your project requires any review.
How fast can Nova start a project in Lebanon?
Most Lebanon projects we measure within 48 hours and can start install within 2–3 weeks of materials arriving. The showroom being right here means we cut typical lead times in half compared to working with a Cincinnati or Dayton-based contractor.
Do you handle older Lebanon homes with original hardwood floors?
Yes — we have NWFA-certified refinishing crews and we work with original tongue-and-groove oak, hickory, and southern yellow pine common in pre-1940 Lebanon homes. We can also do partial replacement panels that match aged wood when a section is too damaged to refinish.
